The screen
For some it’s just a screen very plain
for others it’s a source of social gain.
It’s not necessary that what we see is the absolute truth
Behind the glow lies hidden silent ruth
Sometimes the brighter the screen the darker is a person’s life
There is lack of patience now because you get everything in a swipe.
There is no excitement to meet someone known or new
Coz there are only followers and real friendships very few.
Bonds have become performative and hollow
They don’t have the depth and hues so are very shallow.
I was created to save time and increase contacts
The irony is now your relationships are in dire need to stay intact.
